Adelaide Spanish School

At Adelaide Spanish School we make learning Spanish fun with enthusiastic native speaking teachers and small class sizes for individual attention. We are an Adelaide based business focused exclusively on Spanish teaching.

About us

At Adelaide Spanish School we offer 8 levels of Spanish language courses; Beginners 1 (new beginners), Beginners 2, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced Conversation and our new DELE course. These Spanish lessons are lead by highly qualified and experienced native Spanish speaking teachers. Our teachers use an action-based methodology to give a context to the material learnt in class.

New enrolments are accepted in all 4 terms for all levels of our Spanish classes, except the DELE course which takes in new students every 2 terms if there is enough demand.

Enrolment

Enrolments are now open for term 1, 2025.
A term of classes consists of ten 1.5 hour classes (one per week). Class fees are $270 per term, and the textbook is an additional $70 if purchased from us.
Students enrolling in two classes during the same term receive a 10% discount off the total class fees. The DELE course is $1000 and goes over two terms.

How to Enrol

Fill out our enrolment form here.

You will receive instructions on how to pay the $50 deposit or full term fee (if paying a deposit, the remainder of the fee is due by the first class).

Conditions

  • On enrolment, a $50 non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your place in classes. The remainder of the term fee is due by the first class of term. For late fees a 10% admin fee applies every week after the due date.
  • Once the course has commenced, fees are non-refundable, and transfers to future terms are not possible due to our lesson planning being based on the current enrolled students. Exceptions will only be made under very exceptional circumstances.
  • No refund will be given to students who miss classes, start the course late or leave a course before the end of the term. Where a student knows that a class will be missed due to prior engagements, we will do our best to assist in communicating the material.
  • The DELE course will only go ahead if there is a sufficient number of students.

Testimonials

I LOVE the Spanish classes and they are the highlight of my week… also the teacher is really lovely.

— Sharon, Beginners 2 Spanish Student

— Barry, Advanced Spanish Student

I am now in my third year of Spanish lessons and still enjoying them as much as when I first started. The lessons are relaxed and friendly, the learning pace is comfortable and the teachers are great.

— Scott, Intermediate Spanish Student

I’m really enjoying the classes; leaves the Spanish class I completed elsewhere for dead. The teacher is fantastic, fun, friendly and has really helped me. Looking forward to continuing!

— Marisa, Beginners 1 Spanish Student

I have attended Spanish classes at Adelaide Spanish School since they began. My desire to learn Spanish began out of a fantastic trip to Peru where I would have experienced so much more of the local culture if I had been able to speak a little of the language. The class sizes at Adelaide Spanish School are small and personal. The camaraderie engendered between students is enjoyable and rewarding. The teaching style is individualised and the activities vary from week to week. Learning Spanish in this environment is interesting, entertaining and fun. The activities are always stimulating and challenging with worksheets and vocabulary lists provided which are both useful and informative. I have taken a lot more from the classes than I expected to. I would thoroughly recommend learning Spanish at Adelaide Spanish School to anyone and classes are tailored to suit learning needs with Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels offered.

— Kim, Intermediate Spanish Student
